Chelsea have received somewhat of a boost in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, as he has been put up for sale… at a certain price
However, the Daily Express reports that the Serie A champions are refusing to sell the French midfielder unless Chelsea are willing to pay £109m.
This would mark a world record transfer fee, which is currently held by Real Madrid for their £85.3m signing of striker Gareth Bale.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Juventus on a free transfer deal in 2012, which makes him look like a colossal steal at this point.
Pogba is expected to command a five-year contract worth £82.5m, in addition to his transfer fee.
The Blues have only two days to reach a deal for the Juventus midfielder, as the transfer window will close on Tuesday.
However, they now have a legitimate chance to land their prime target after being told that he is for sale.
