Chelsea are said to be the latest club to show an interest in Burnley striker Danny Ings and are hoping to complete his signing on a free transfer over the summer, according to the Metro.

The Blues are said to be desperate to bolster their attacking options ahead of the next season as star man Diego Costa has been in and out of the side with injury, and Diego Costa appears to have lost his edge.
Ings has caught the eye of a whole host of top flight clubs in England this season, and there is likely to be a huge scramble for his signature during the transfer window as clubs see him as a cheap alternative to their goalscoring problems.
The Blues believe that they can win the race for the 22-year-old’s signature, and manager Jose Mourinho feels he will be a most welcome addition to his squad.
Ings has bagged nine goals in 31 Premier League appearances this season, and though his form has hit somewhat of a bump in the road lately, many will feel that with the right service he will have no problem terrorising defences again.
