Hulk has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge that could see them boost an already strong midfield.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk, in a move that would boost an already deep and talented midfield currently at Stamford Bridge.
Actusports.fr have linked the club with the Brazilian international, and Roman Abromovich will be hoping to take full advantage of his contacts in the Russian league to bring the attacker to the Premier League.
Hulk has disappointed Zenit fans during his time at the club, having failed to justify his £50m price tag since arriving from Porto last summer, and in 16 appearances last season, the powerful forward has scored just seven goals, and departure from Zenit now looks likely.
The attacking midfielder would immediately face competition for playing time from a midfield group that also consists of Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar, who are all capable of playing in an advanced midfield role for Chelsea.
The addition of Hulk may add some star power to the side, but could be waste of money if he doesn’t make an impact early.
