There are nine Chelsea senior players in action on Tuesday, with Lampard set to join England’s centurions.
Peter Cech
Italy vs CZECH REPUBLIC
After a dismal home defeat to Armenia, the Czech Republic are facing a battle to qualify from Group B, the tightest in European qualifying. With unbeaten Italy home and dry, Peter Cech’s side have three matches to climb above second place Bulgaria, who have one point more.
The experienced goalkeeper will be winning his 103rd cap in Turin but the Azzurri will not be letting up, despite their seven-point cushion.
Branislav Ivanovic
Wales vs SERBIA
With both nations out of contention for qualification, this game is likely to have something of a friendly feel. Proceedings, at least, are unlikely to be dominated by the world’s most expensive player, Gareth Bale, who is ruled out through a groin strain.
Chelsea’s big-bottomed defender Ivanovic should win his 63rd international cap and the 29-year-old will surely be grateful not be facing the former Tottenham man.
