Andre Schurrle
Faroe Islands vs GERMANY
First placed Germany face a trip to the last placed Faroe Islands in what should be a routine victory from Schurrle and co.
The only question seems to be how many Joachim Loew’s side can score against the minnows. Schurrle was an unused substitute in Germany’s 3-0 victory over Austria in Munich on Friday and, while Loew will not be complacent, the boss may experiment, which could see the former Leverkusen man win his 26th cap.
Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and Gary Cahill
Ukraine vs ENGLAND
Build-up to England’s crunch meeting with Ukraine has been dominated by Chelsea’s Frank Lampard, who is set to win his 100th cap in Kiev. The 34-year-old, who has been on sparkling form for England of late, should be joined by club teammates Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole in Roy Hodgson’s XI.
Defeat would leave England facing a potentially tricky play-off to qualify for Brazil but a draw or victory would leave the Three Lions well placed for qualification.
Ramires, David Luiz and Oscar
BRAZIL vs Portugal
World Cup hosts Brazil continue their spate of friendlies with a clash against Portugal in USA. The Potuguese will be without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, while Chelsea’s Oscar, who missed the 6-0 win over Austrlia on Friday, is again likely to miss out with ankle injury.
Ramires, who made a goalscoring return to the national team against the Socceroos, should again feature, as should big-haired centre half David Luiz.
