They are also expected to possibly lose Loic Remy, who is rumored to be a target for Crystal Palace and West Ham.
The Blues are currently looking at QPR striker Charlie Austin, who will undoubtedly want to leave his current situation as QPR has been relegated from the Premier League.
Austin shined for QPR in the 2014-15 season, as he scored 18 goals. This ranked fourth in the Premier League, and this was the 25-year-old’s first season in the Premier League.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in Austin and was impressed with him in QPR’s loss to Chelsea, which Austin scored a goal in.
The Blues are looking to add to their scoring attack, which they were able to do last offseason with the signing of Diego Costa, who ranked third in the Premier League with 20 goals.
