The Reds are looking increasingly likely to lose their star player this summer after the England international rejected repeated offers of new contracts at Anfield.
It now seems Sterling wants to join Chelsea in particular, with the 20-year-old keen to return to living in London, having played for Queens Park Rangers earlier in his career.
Jose Mourinho’s side could do with a new signing in attack, with Antoine Griezmann also a target as they ponder replacing the underperforming Juan Cuadrado.
