The Wales international, has had a difficult season at the Bernabeu this term, and is thought to be considering his future though the Mail claims he is ready to stay at least one more year in the Spanish capital.
Bale only joined Real last season, and impressed in his debut campaign with key goals in the finals of the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, picking up winners’ medals in both competitions.
Still, he could now be wanted back in the Premier League as Chelsea hope to make a bid for the player with a £75m buy-out clause, with United said to be focusing their interest on other transfer targets as priorities.
Chelsea signed Juan Cuadrado in January to add to their long list of attacking midfield options, but may be continuing to look at Bale as an option after the Colombian’s slow start to life in England.
