Premier League’s highest wage bills – Liverpool & Chelsea outspent by Manchester United
The Spanish international looks to be on the outs at the Nou Camp, and as such has already attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter Milan.
Though he has made 47 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals in the process, most of his minutes have come from the bench, with Luis Enrique preferring his strongest forward line of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
And despite all of his admirers, Spanish daily Marca has claimed that Jose Mourinho is firmly amongst the chasing pack for his signature, and will seek to make a tempting offer to the 27-year-old during the summer transfer window.
The report suggests that Mourinho wants to take him on board as he ticks the boxes for everything he needs next season, and with his contract due to expire next season he may be up for grabs for as little as £12million.
