The 23-year-old looks like one of the best young players in the world in his position, weighing in with four goals and 13 assists this season after also inspiring Atletico to the La Liga title and Champions League final last season.
Chelsea are now said to be preparing to bring the Spaniard to the Premier League, with the Daily Express reporting that the Blues have identified him as one of their top targets in their aim to build a squad that can mount a stronger challenge for the Champions League next season.
With Cesc Fabregas’ form a bit of a concern at the moment, it perhaps makes sense that Chelsea would see Koke as an ideal replacement in that part of the pitch.
