While it was initially suggested that his release clause fee had been reduced to €30m after he signed a new deal with the club, it is believed that it still stands at €150m.
As a result, it will be up to the interested parties to make their move and negotiate with Barcelona over a fee and then agree personal terms provided that the report of him wanting to try a new challenge is true.
PSG have also been credited with an interest, and so there is likely to be significant competition for the Premier League giants in getting their target.
Pedro has been an important part of the Barca squad for a number of years, but the arrivals of Luis Suarez and more recently Arda Turan have seen him fall down the pecking order.
