Chelsea manipulate the loan system more than most Premier League clubs, farming a crazy number of players out to clubs lower down in England’s football pyramid, as well as elsewhere in Europe.
Nathan Ake and Christian Atsu have already agree loans deals ahead of next season. They will play for Middlesbrough and Bournemouth respectively.

Nathan Ake – Reading
Middlesbrough-bound Ake played five Championship games for Reading during a one-month loan last term. The 20-year-old did not look at all out of place in a top-half Championship side.

Christian Atsu – Everton
The 23-year-old spent the entire season at Everton, but only started one Premier League game.

Lewis Baker – MK Dons
The hard-working midfielder helped the Milton Keynes side seal promotion. He has a bright future.
