Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam has been targeted by Chelsea and Manchester City in the summer transfer period as both team prepare bids for the £10m defender.
According to Le Buteur, Ghoulam is drawing significant interest from Man City after getting an equal amount of interest from Chelsea. With a price tag estimated at €15 million (£10m), the 24-year-old Algerian could fit a need for both teams as they expect to duke it out for the Premier League Championship next season.
A member of the 2014-15 UEFA Europa Squad of the Season, Ghoulam is reportedly seeking a way out of Napoli ever since Rafa Benitez left the team to accept the vacant manager position with Real Madrid.
Man City has displayed a slight weakness at the left back position and Chelsea could use some defensive depth.
