Axel Witsel is reportedly on the radar of Chelsea and Manchester United as he seeks to leave Zenit St. Petersburg this summer.
The Belgian midfielder made a lucrative move to Russia in 2012 and helped them to second-place finishes in his first two seasons.
But, after winning the title last season under former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas, Witsel wants a new challenge.

Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus are in talks with the 26-year-old’s representatives as they have doubts over the futures of Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo.
But Chelsea and United are apparently ready to hijack that move and compete with the Champions League finalists for the signature of Witsel, who has 57 international caps.
Louis van Gaal wants to strengthen in the centre of the park, but has suffered setbacks in his pursuits of Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Inter Milan’s Fredy Guarin.
