Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane earned his first senior call-up for England this week and, following his first training session with his new international team-mates, the forward has received glowing comments from Chelsea defender Gary Cahill and Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.

The 21-year-old has scored 29 goals in all competitions so far this campaign, and Carrick admits that Kane’s performances have been special this season, telling BBC Sport: “He’s gone up two or three levels. His performances keep improving.”
Cahill echoed the words of the Red Devils ace, adding “He has all the attributes for a striker – his confidence is sky high.”
The Spurs striker looks set to start on his debut, up front alongside captain Wayne Rooney.
