Center back Raphael Verane is reportedly available for sale by Real Madrid due to the club’s expensive pursuit of Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci, opening the door for Chelsea and Man United.
According to the Express, Verane is poised to move to the Premier League with Pepe and Sergio Ramos holding starting jobs on lockdown. With Real Madrid expressing interest in Juventus’ star center back Leonardo Bonucci, the club is reportedly willing to put Verane up for sale in order to get the extra cash.
Manchester United and Chelsea are believed to be the top suitors for the Real Madrid defender as both clubs look to infuse even more youth into their already impressive defensive fronts.
In four seasons with Real Madrid since leaving Lens in 2011, Verane has 65 league appearances and a goal, but has an extra 49 appearances and 8 goals between Cup and UEFA matches.
Verane signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid back in September 2014 that goes through 2020.
