Having fallen down the pecking order for a place between the sticks behind Thibaut Courtois it’s been widely reported that Cech will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the New Year.
Several top clubs have been linked with the Czech Republic international, with the latest and perhaps most controversial being Arsenal.
However, Mourinho has denied that there is any truth in Cech leaving for the Gunners.
“I promise what I’m telling you is the truth. On my desk – and normally all information arrives at my desk – I have zero proposals,” the 51-year-0ld was quoted by Goal.
“In this moment Cech is our goalkeeper. He has a contract for two more years and is a fantastic professional.
“Not once has Petr Cech knocked on my door to inform me about his desire to accept some proposal. That is the truth and there is nothing more I can say.”
With the North Londoners having signed David Ospina over the summer and manager Arsene Wenger a great supporter of Wojciech Szczesny, it seems unlikely they would make a move for Cech.
However, the 32-year-old remains one of the best ‘keepers in world football and would walk into many starting XIs.
