Spaniard was missing as the Blues won at Crystal Palace.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wasn’t messing around this time when he suggested that top scorer Diego Costa was likely to miss out on today’s match against Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury – and the Spaniard is likely to miss out against Maribor in midweek too according to the Mail, with Mourinho launching an astonishing attack on the Spanish national side.

Costa played in Spain’s recent Euro 2016 qualification ties against Slovakia and Luxembourg, with Mourinho furious that he arrived back at his club with his injury problems exacerbated:
“After Arsenal he went to the national team, played two big matches and has come back in a condition where he can’t play.”
“I think he’ll be in great condition in mid-November to be back for the national team. We’ll take good care of him.”
