Chelsea have reportedly made a £24.8m offer to land in-demand Lazio star Felipe Anderson as the tussle between them and Manchester United threatens to ramp up into overdrive, according to the Metro.

The Blues are said to be in the market for another creative midfield player after being disappointed by the recent signing of Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina.
Anderson has enjoyed a fantastic season with Lazio this year, bagging 10 goals and seven assists, making him one of the most in demand stars in Europe as the summer transfer window approaches.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for him, though it is thought that their apparent interest in Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale may be enough to dissuade him from making the move to Old Trafford.
And that is thought to be enough for Chelsea to make their own bid to steal in and make their own move.
