Chelsea’s reported summer move for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Rob Green has been thrown into some doubt.
The Metro claimed earlier this month that the Blues were close to signing the former England stopper as a replacement for current understudy Petr Cech, who has been heavily linked with a switch across London to rivals Arsenal.

However, Green left Saturday’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United prematurely, after a clash with teammate Joey Barton left him groggy.
It is unclear whether the injury will be a serious one, but it is expected that Chelsea will want to review the situation before they proceed with a move for the 35-year-old, who has 12 senior Three Lions caps to his name.
