Chelsea are keen to complete a deal for Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to reports.
The Serbian international has been linked with a Premier League move in recent weeks due to his stellar performances in the Belgian top flight after joining Anderlecht from Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade in 2013.
According to Daily Star, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to make a move for the 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Newcastle United and Swansea City.
Mitrovic has scored an impressive 36 goals in 69 appearances for Anderlecht and is considered to be one of Europe’s hottest young talents.
Chelsea are also interested in Barcelona star Pedro, however Mourinho could turn his full attention to the Serb as a back-up to Diego Costa and loanee Radamel Falcao.
Mitrovic is seven years younger than Pedro and Mourinho could make a move for the youngster who possess an endless amount of potential and will likely come £7m cheaper than the Spanish international.
