4) Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal)
Although it was Ozil grabbing the headlines when he made his shock move to Arsenal on deadline day of last summer’s transfer window, it wasn’t long before Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey established himself as the real star of this current Arsenal team.
Still only 23, this class act is starting to show why Arsene Wenger paid so much faith in him during his more inconsistent days as a youngster coming through the side.
Ramsey’s extra-time FA Cup winning goal against Hull City saw him end the 2013/14 campaign with 13 goals and nine assists in all competitions, far more than he had ever achieved prior to this year, as he became a true match-winner for the Gunners.
There’s no doubt that Ramsey looks like having the potential to become as influential or even better than Fabregas was during his peak years at the Emirates Stadium.
