Jose Mourinho urges his side to avoid comparisons with ‘the Invincibles’
Having gone 13 Premier League matches unbeaten so far many have been moved to compare the West Londoners to Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side of 2002/03.
The Gunners went an entire season unbeaten in that campaign, but Mourinho says if the players start comparing themselves to them they could risk losing out in the title race.
“If you play for that, if that is one objective, maybe you draw so many matches and you don’t take risks to try and win matches. You are happy just to be undefeated,” the 51-year-old was quoted by the Daily Star.
