Chelsea stars dominate Lampard’s best XI
Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has risked the wrath of his new fans by naming five Chelsea players in his all-time best XI.
The 36-year-old made the surprise move to City this summer, joining on loan after signing for their MLS franchise club New York City FC, but clearly still holds his old club close to his heart.
Speaking to City’s official website, Lampard named Petr Cech, John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba in his lineup, with Vincent Kompany the only one of his current team-mates to make the team.
