Blues pay tribute to lifelong president Lord Richard Attenborough
The Oscar-winning director and actor died on Sunday aged 90 and the West London club have paid tribute to the lifelong fan of the side.
Lord Attenborough has been involved with the club in some capacity for over 60 years and was on the board between 1969 and 1982.
“Chelsea Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our life president. He was a consistent force for good at the club, even in dark times,” a club statement read.
