City star says Spain adapting to Costa
Manchester City star David Silva admits he and some of his Spanish international team-mates are still adapting to having Chelsea’s Diego Costa upfront in their team.
According to Goal.com, Silva says that his country’s possession-based game in recent years is not ideally geared to what Costa brings to the team, though he is confident that this can change with time.
“We’re trying to gel with Diego. In recent years our game has been based around keeping the ball and creating chances,” he said.
“We have to be patient because there are new players coming through. Costa looks good and I’ve spoken to him. There’s nothing wrong with him.”
