Gunners, Blues and Tottenham Hotspur all had the chance to sign Raheem Sterling
It could have been so different for the Reds as Sterling was tracked by a number of top flight clubs before eventually choosing Anfield as his new home back in 2010.
According to the Daily Express four other teams were looking to sign the 19-year-old from QPR before Rafael Benitez convinced the Englishman to join him on Merseyside.
Since then Brendan Rodgers has helped nurture Sterling into one of the most promising young talents in world football.
