Chelsea A Possible Lionel Messi Exit Destination
Leo Messi keeps trying to deny that he wants to leave Barcelona, but each denial drags the story up again, and so it keeps churning around the football news.
It’s nonsense of course. Lionel Messi will probably leave Barcelona one day, but not till his best days are far behind him. The basis for all these stories are quotes from Messi and later his father, who both say he’s very happy at Barcelona, but may one day leave. This is not controversial or surprising. A return to Newell’s Old Boys seems a likely bet, or perhaps a lucrative move to the USA or the Middle East. £500m move to PSG or Chelsea? Less likely.
