Blues reportedly offered Seydou Doumbia.
Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia for a fee of around £25 million, report the Mail, after the pacey and powerful striker caught the eye in his side’s recent Champions League successes against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Doumbia has been one of the finest performers in the Russian league since he joined CSKA Moscow and is a player who has always been touted as having the potential to step up to a major European league – although a move is yet to materialise for him.
Chelsea could be an ideal destination, however, with a place in the Blues’ frontline set to be opened up by the retirement of Didier Drogba – a player with whom parallels to Doumbia can be drawn.
