Blues line up a move for Andre Gomes from Benfica.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho doesn’t look like he’s willing to rest on his laurels following the Blues’ lightning start to the Premier League season, with talkSPORT reporting that the Portuguese is ready to make a move for his countryman Andre Gomes from Benfica.

Gomes has been in fine form for Valencia during a loan spell in La Liga so far this season and looks certain to be one of the next players to leave the Portuguese Primeira Liga in search of bigger things – with Chelsea reportedly lining up a January swoop for the youngster.
Despite their fine start to the season, Chelsea are perhaps a little light in central midfield with little cover for first choice duo Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas, potentially leading Mourinho to the door of Gomes.
