One of the standout performers of the day with Willian even having a hand in the second goal which could prove so decisive in the Premier League title race.
LAM: Eden Hazard – 8
Clearly the man of the match, Hazard opened the scoring with his penalty and essentially sealed the points for Chelsea with a mazy and driven run that bamboozled the Stoke defence and left an open net for Remy.
CF: Loic Remy – 7
Granted he could barely miss the chance Hazard offered up to him but relished his rare start and will be glad to have scored knowing the next few weeks will likely seeing him have a more involved role for the Blues after Costa’s hamstring injury.
