Cesc Fabregas – 5.5/10
Created very little and embarrassed himself with a shocking dive.
Ramires – 6/10
Offered less than usual going forward, but did a good job in midfield, destroying Arsenal attacks before any momentum could be made.
Eden Hazard 5/10
Player of the season? Yes! But today was not Hazard’s day. He played the entire 90 minutes, but made close to no impact on the game.
Willian- 6.5/10
Tracked back a lot and did his best to instigate attacks, albeit with little support.
Oscar – 7/10
With Chelsea starting the game without a recognised striker, the responsibility to lead the attack fell upon Oscar. The Brazilian caused Arsenal’s defenders problems on many occasions and could easily have been awarded two penalties, with Hector Bellerin and David Ospina appearing to foul him in the box, only for referee Michael Oliver to wave away Blues protests. Despite impressing in the first 45 minutes, Oscar wa hauled off at half time, but make way for Didier Drogba, who looked a shadow of his former self.
