CDM: Nemanja Matic – 7/10
Initially lost the midfield battle to Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla, but eventually his class prevailed and he did brilliantly recycling the ball as Chelsea aimed to build late pressure.
CM: Cesc Fabregas – 6/10
Aside from one beautiful pass to release Hazard for Chelsea’s clearest opportunity, it was an off-day for Fabregas against the club which he used to captain.
AMC: Willian – 5/10
Not as effective in the middle, where the Blues need guile and goals rather than the energy and directness that Willian so often brings to the cause on their right flank.
