Chelsea finished the 2014-15 Premier League with an unbeaten home record, after coming from a goal down to defeat Sunderland 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
On the day the Blues lifted the trophy, Steven Fletcher threatened to play the role of party pooper when he opened the scoring early on, but Diego Costa’s 20th goal of the season, followed by a brace from fellow sub Loic Remy, tipped the game in the favour of Jose Mourinho’s men.
Here’s how Mourinho’s little horses rated against the Black Cats…
Petr Cech – 7/10
On what was almost certainly his final Chelsea game, Cech was much busier than he would have been expecting. He made seven saves.
Branislav Ivanovic – 5.5/10
Ivanovic was a defender on an attacking mission. He registered five shots, but only one hit the target.
Gary Cahill – 6/10
Solid as ever.
John Terry – 7/10
Completed an exceptional season with another commanding display on his 38th league start.
