After a disappointing loss to the New York Red Bulls in the International Champions Cup on Saturday, Chelsea bounced back in dramatic fashion.
They defeated Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling penalty shootout after it went to sudden death.
Here, fanatix rates the Chelsea performances…
GK: Asmir Begovic -7/10
Chelsea’s new goalkeeper put a first-half goal behind him, which was not his fault, to make multiple saves to prevent PSG from sealing a win.
This included a fingertip save just before half time.
RB: Branislav Ivanovic – 4/10
The Blues defender missed an opportunity to recover the ball on a goal situation, as he failed to react quickly enough after Moses put the ball in position.
CB: Gary Cahill – 5/10
Cahill did not make much of an impact in the game either way, as he was seen limping off the field in the first half.
CB: John Terry – 5/10
Although the Blues captain was not directly responsible for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal, he was juked out before the ball was put into scoring position.
LB: Cesar Azpilicueta – 5/10
The Spanish international pulled back PSG star Lucas Moura to draw a yellow card, but he redeemed himself with a successful penalty.
