If not for Courtois’ heroic play, Moses would easily be the man of the match as he scored the equalising goal in the second half to force penalty kicks.
AML: Eden Hazard – 6/10
The PFA Player of the Year was able to smoothly travel with the ball through the middle during the first half but did not put in his best performance.
ST: Diego Costa – 6/10
The Blues’ leading scorer from last season found himself in a feud with Serge Aurier, as the two players each received yellow cards.
He was able to get two decent shots away, one of which was kept out by a good save.
