Apparently, Chelsea + Matic – John Terry is a losing formula at Stamford Bridge.
Last season Chelsea didn’t have one loss until December, and didn’t have a second loss until January.
Now just four weeks into the 2015-16 Premier League season, the Blues are singing the blues with just four points and two losses on their record.
With John Terry suspended for the match because of a red card, Jose Mourinho was forced to keep the struggling Branislav Ivanovic in the starting lineup and use Kurt Zouma in Terry’s place.
Just by looking at the final score it’s safe to say Mourinho’s scheme didn’t work out too well.

Now the Blues are 3 points behind Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool and are in a whopping 8-point hole behind the BPL title frontrunners following Man City’s win over Watford.
Here’s a look at the Chelsea player ratings following their stunning 1-2 loss against Crystal Palace:
Thibaut Courtois – 6/10
For the fourth straight match the Blues have given up at least 2 goals. Courtois didn’t get a ton of help in this match, but he didn’t show up like the team needed him to today.
