Andre Schurrle – 6/10
Andre Schurrle was bright in the first half but faded after the break. The German had one of Chelsea’s best chances of the game in the opening period, with Jose Mourinho turning away in celebration – only to find that his player had missed.
Eden Hazard – 7/10
So much of Chelsea’s gameplan revolves around Eden Hazard producing moments of genius that if the Belgian winger is unable to break through enemy lines, the Blues look devoid of inspiration.
Hazard did his best, and created the west London club’s best opportunities, but
Fernando Torres – 5/10
A classic Fernando Torres performance. Worked hard, but to little avail, for his finishing appears to have totally deserted him.
