Ramires – 5/10
Ramires had a decent enough game, but a needless and violent elbow on Sebastian Larsson ought to have prematurely ended his game.
No red card was shown, and the Brazilian was free to continue playing, though typically showed more industry and effort than guile and creativity.
Willian – 8/10
Willian was the one Chelsea player who looked capable of making things happen throughout, with brilliant dribbling through midfield creating the majority of the Blues’ attacks.
The Brazilian made nine key passes, and if his team-mates had been able to convert the opportunities he made, Chelsea could have won at a canter.
In the end, Willian only got one assist, setting up Samuel Eto’o’s goal from a corner.
Oscar – 6/10
Oscar makes great attacking runs, and his innate sense of positioning ensures that team-mates regularly find him on the edge of the area to shoot.
The 22 year-old had six strikes on goal against Sunderland, but was unable to find the back of the net.
