Chelsea player ratings v Swansea, with Ba bagging game’s only goal

DC) John Terry – 7/10

Terry won the battle with Swansea’s powerhouse forward Wilfried Bony. The Blues skipper was excellent in the air, and passed the ball impressively into midfield as well.

DC) Gary Cahill – 6/10

Solid, if unspectacular afternoon from the reliable Englishman. Cahill did everything required of him with minimal fuss, just the way Jose Mourinho likes his defenders to play.

DL) Cesar Azpilicueta – 5/10

Was given problems by the pace of Nathan Dyer down Swansea’s right flank, and rarely got forward – unlike Ivanovic on the right of Chelsea’s back four.
