Thibaut Courtois: 8/10
The Belgian shot-stopper pulled off a number of good saves during the 90 minutes and made an excellent stop on Gerard Pique in the penalty shootout.
Branislav Ivanovic: 6.5/10
Solid throughout the match but didn’t get forward as much as he would like to due to Barcelona’s high press.
Kurt Zouma: 5.5/10
Zouma struggled to contain Luis Suarez and was regularly caught out of position. There aren’t many defenders that can handle the Uruguayan and the 20-year-old has a big future.
Gary Cahill: 7/10
The England defender was strong all night and showed his courage after receiving a suspected broken nose after heading in a late equaliser.
Cesar Azpilicueta: 6/10
Azpilicueta’s horror mistake lead to Luis Suarez’s goal, but he was otherwise solid enough.
