RW: Willian – 7 (Zouma 80′)
Consistently got forward with his side and pleasing showing from someone who hasn’t necessarily been as consistent as he’d have wanted since joining Chelsea.
ST: Diego Costa – 7 (Remy 75′)
Costa was aggressive, bustling and all you would expect from the former Atletico man. He squared up to Michael Dawson in the box and was involved in a second half scuffle, but scored an all important 19th goal of the season.
LW: Eden Hazard – 8
The young Belgian was the star for his side in a workmanlike performance, scoring a brilliant opener and carrying his side toward victory from then on.
Subs:
Kurt Zouma – 5
Brought on to shore things up defensively, but had very little impact on the game.
Oscar – 6
Replaced Ramires to give more attacking impetus and creativity and while he never shone, he did contribute to the overall effort.
Loic Remy – 7
Bagged a goal, fulfilling the super-sub role perfectly and will be looking to step in for Costa should he not start the next game.
