Willian – 8/10
Like Ramires, Willian was all running, and Chelsea’s relentless pressing showed exactly why Jose Mourinho was keen to bring in the Brazilian to replace Juan Mata in his team’s attacking midfield.
Willian is a brilliant ball carrier, and is excellent at moving the ball from the defensive half of the field to attack. His decision making still remains an issue from his days with Anzhi Makhachkala, but the 25 year-old played a very good game, creating seven shooting chances.
Eden Hazard – 9/10
Eden Hazard dribbled past an opponent a phenomenal eleven times against Manchester City – more than the entire home side.
The Belgian wing wizard backed up his manager Jose Mourinho’s suggestion that he has the talent to earn 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or with a virtuoso display from the left wing, beating players at will and showing great work rate.
