Samuel Eto’o – 7/10
Samuel Eto’o is not the striker he was in his prime, but looked lively throughout and hit the bar with a fiercely struck effort.
It is hard to say how long Eto’o will be at Stamford Bridge, with Jose Mourinho openly stating he hopes to sign a top class centre forward in the summer, but the Cameroonian has nevertheless displayed his worth on numerous occasions this season.
Substitutes:
Oscar – 7/10
The hard working Oscar gave Chelsea fresh legs when he came on with less than ten minutes to spare, and after intelligently riding a challenge from Matija Nastasic and being pulled back as he ran towards goal, could have had the Montenegrin sent off.
John Obi Mikel – 6/10
Joined the action after ninety minutes had elapsed, and had little time to make an impact.
Demba Ba – 6/10
Demba Ba joined the action in injury time, and the Senegal striker’s sole contribution was to make an impressive defensive header from a corner.
