GK) Thibaut Courtois 6/10
Wasn’t inundated with shots on his goal despite United’s dominance but was alert when called upon.
RB) Branislav Ivanovic 7/10
Managed to shake off a head injury in the first half to give his usual commanding performance, despite coming up against a rejuvenated Luke Shaw.
CB) John Terry 7/10
A relatively comfortable 90 minutes against Falcao, but he had to be on his toes when Shaw was marauding down the left channel and aiming balls into the box.
CB) Gary Cahill 7/10
Looking more like his old self, he was decisive and also didn’t mind giving Herrera a piece of his mind when the Spaniard was booked for diving at the death.
LB) Cesar Azpilicueta 7/10
As always operating on his weaker foot but you wouldn’t know it, as he was assured throughout.
