Willian – 7/10
The Brazilian international did not directly score a goal, but he forced Federico Fernandez to put the ball past his own keeper with a well-placed cross. The Brazilian also drew two fouls.
Oscar – 8/10
Oscar scored Chelsea’s opener after shaking off an early injury that caused him to clutch his face in apparent agony. He controlled the ball like a magician throughout his impact and might have made a decisive impact had he not been the key casualty of Courtois’s dismissal.
Eden Hazard – 6/10
The defending PFA Player of the Year did not do anything particularly right or wrong, but he got a shot on goal that narrowly missed the target, while also getting a fine cross out to Radamel Falcao. He also had a through ball halted by an offside call, and failed to step up when Chelsea needed inspiration late on.
