2. Eden Hazard
A decent day for the Premier League Player of the Year, but Hazard – much like the majority of the team – just lacked that fire and eagerness to dominate that helped the Blues stave off defeat for 16 straight weeks. And it cost the team dearly on the scoreboard.
1. Nemanja Matic, Midfielder
On a day of terrible offense, Matic was really the only one giving the Blues a semblance of offense. It wasn’t anywhere near enough though – but still, Matic kept West Brom in hot pursuit for the majority of the match and was the only player on the squad to get more than a single shot.
