Blues want to add more firepower to their attack at the Bridge.
New Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho intends to make Zenit St Petersburg front man Hulk his first signing in his second spell in charge of the west London club, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The powerful Brazil international has only been with the Russian giants for just the one season, having signed for Zenit for a whopping 60 million euros, according to some reports, in September 2012.
However, the 26-year-old has endured a tough debut campaign with his new club, being subjected to racist chants from his own supporters, while on the field of play the attacker has managed to net 11 goals in 28 matches, including seven strikes in 16 league appearances for Zenit, as well as contributing four assists along the way.
And now the self-styled ‘Special One’ wants to bring Hulk to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window finally swings open into action once again on July 1 to spearhead his Blues attack next season.
