DM: Jon Obi Mikel
Fresh from his first league goal for Chelsea, Nigerian enforcer Mikel is likely to retain his place for the visit to White Hart Lane. The 26-year-old is not everyone’s cup of tea but with Spurs now possessing some superb talent (and strength in depth) at attacking midfield, Mikel will be vital in shackling the likes of Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Paulinho.
DM: Ramires
With Tottenham set to play a triumvirate of attacking midfielders behind a lone striker, box-to-box Ramires is also likely to retain his place. His Brazilian’s energy will be vital if the Blues are to win the midfield battle against Spurs’ new stars and he could face an intriguing battle with international teammate Paulinho.
