Blues desperate to bring Sami Khedira to the club.
Chelsea are set to make a January offer for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, report the BBC, with the Blues looking to push through a deal for the German international, who won the World Cup this summer, before he signs a new contract with the European champions.

Khedira’s current Bernabeu deal is due to expire at the end of the season, leading a number of top European clubs including Chelsea’s bitter London rivals Arsenal and German champions Bayern Munich, to take a look at the possibility of signing the former Stuttgart box-to-box star.
Chelsea are also keen, however, with manager Jose Mourinho having been a huge fan of Khedira during his time at Real Madrid and keen to add depth to a midfield that does not extend much beyond Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas.
